Municipal Election Update
Autumn equinox brings falling leaves and growing election signs
On this last official day of summer, municipal election signs are popping up all over the Village, a sure indication of a busy fall season ahead.
Last week's Village Update heralded an upcoming All-Candidates' meeting, though the date and location still remain to be announced. Over the weekend, several of the candidates were spotted out and about in the Village, meeting and chatting with voters.
The Watershed has contacted all candidates with a selection of questions, and next week we'll begin running the results, offering our readers a chance to take a peek at their responses and platforms.
So as to ensure all platforms are presented to our readers on an even footing, we will not be accepting or running ads for individual candidates.
A reminder that the penultimate regular Council meeting of this term will be held on Tuesday. In order to keep our readers informed, The Watershed has summarized every Council meeting since our inception in January, 2023.
