Wednesday's Lions Bay School concert event open to all

It's time to celebrate spring with the students of Lions Bay School.

Everyone is invited to attend the free Spring Concert on Wednesday, June 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Vice Principal Jennifer Ohlhauser says the program includes songs the students have learned over the past month, which will each be performed "with actions and energy."

Students from kindergarten through Grade Three will be showcasing their vocal skills, along with a few songs featuring students playing xylophone, metallophone and ukuleles.

The best part about events like this, she adds, is "the joy; along with the smiles on faces as we sing funny parts."

"Everyone is invited – neighbours and community friends, and all our Lions Bay School families."

The concert will be held in the gym, with doors opening at 6 p.m.
