Registration opens at Lions Bay School

Who doesn't want to go to school in the woods?
Lions Bay School is now accepting registrations for next fall's batch of kindergarten students.
This school is a part of the West Vancouver School District, and has been educating Village children in the primary grades (K-3) since 1977.
Teachers are now ready to welcome a whole new group of five-year-olds in September, 2026.
"Our staff are experienced educators who care for the social and emotional development of our students, as well as their academic growth," says Vice-principal Jennifer Ohlhauser.
Lions Bay staff were profiled in a recent Watershed article HERE. Ohlhauser says there is also a lot of potential for interested parents to become involved.
"We have a strong PAC executive who provide a hot lunch program and community events for the school," she says.
Parents can register their children by scanning the QR Code in the image above, or by clicking through to the school website HERE. A video tour shot in 2021 is available HERE.
