Golden Ruby is January's Gem

Coastal Canine brightens her family's life

Ruby is a clever girl with all the classic Golden Retriever characteristics on display. Her family tells us that she is goofy and fun, sneaky and brave, sweet and smart, dependable and loyal - a true force to be reckoned with for all who know and love her.

Every greeting comes complete with sweeping tail-wags and a mouth full of sticks, stuffies, balls or socks, along with a (sometimes muffled) vocal welcome. We understand that Ruby is also very generous with her coat, sharing her long hair onto the clothes of every visitor.

She is a staunch defender of her fortress, putting her excellent Doberman and German shepherd imitations to good use, but the moment you call her name, her tail goes into action and she madly hunts for a mouthful of sticks to share.

Keep sparkling, Ruby!
