Celebrating the hard-working women who keep Lions Bay ticking

In honour of International Women's Day this past Sunday, The Watershed would like to offer a huge round of applause to the hard-working women who keep things running behind the scenes here in the Village.
Deputy Corporate Officer Kristal Kenna, Municipal Accountant and Film Liaison Karen Jeffrey, and Administrative Assistants Shawna Driscoll and Jordan Szmidt spend every working day making life easier for the residents of Lions Bay.
Whether it's collecting fees, searching files, deep-diving records, booking events, overseeing planning and development permits, keeping municipal records safe and organized, providing information to the public and any one of a thousand other tasks, all with a smile and a kind word, we are very lucky to have these women, each with their own exceptional organizational skills, behind the desks at the Village Office.
Thank you all for all you do!
