Seagull Sunday

Remembering the birth of the current playscape


In light of the proposed plans for Lions Bay Beach Park this fall, today's Seagull Sunday is a look back at the efforts of the volunteers who built the existing beach playscape in the summer of 2000.



Written by former resident, volunteer, and Village Office employee Anne Page, this article from Volume 10, Issue 7 of The Seagull is a blast from the past, reminding us that this village has a long history of volunteerism.

And now the playscape is proposed to cost $40,000, times have certainly changed.
