December's (Aspiring) Coastal Canine

Bramble convinced of his honorary dog status

This month's celebrity is more of a Kitten Kringle than a Coastal Canine, but his undeniable feline genetics don't stop him from having his brother Cedar wrapped around one paw.

Cedar, a former Coastal Canine himself, welcomed his new buddy in November when Bramble was a mere 11 weeks old and they built a connection right away. Bramble's family say he is working hard to help their hearts heal from the loss of two other cats earlier this year.

Bramble is known as a bit of a spitfire, but as he and his siblings were fostered in a house with dogs and teens, he fits right in to his new home. He's not yet been persuaded that counters are not kitten territory, but he loves to eat and to play with his crinkle toys.

All the same, Bramble is convinced of his honorary canine status, mostly attained from snuggling with his dog brother Cedar.

Keep trying, Bramble – maybe some of that canine is catching!

Oh Bramble you are so adorable! Love the little black tufts of fur at the tips of your little ears. You are so lucky you chose to adopt your new loving family. You and Cedar look like best buddies. Welcome to Lions Bay and our hood.
