Joyous Juneau

Coastal canine protects the princess

ree

Juneau is a silver standard poodle who turned four this past June. He gets his name from the Juneau Icefields, a region which traverses the BC-Alaska border that is very special, just like him.

This poodle's family says he takes the job of watching over his two young humans very seriously. He's also staked a claim to a large teddy bear that was not actually intended for him.

One more creature to look after!

When he's not sleeping on his teddy, Juneau's favourite game is chasing his ball through the woods. Juneau's family says, given the option, he'd happily spend the whole day at this important job.

Before his arrival, Juneau's humans could never have imagined having a poodle, let alone walking down the street with a poodle and a princess. Sometimes, the best twists in life are the unexpected ones.

Keep an eye on that princess, Juneau!
