Meet Jenna, November's Coastal Canine

Updated: Nov 19

A wee lassie who lives life in the fast lane

Jenna joined her family when she was about four months old and has now achieved the ripe old age of nine months.

Her family says she has fit in perfectly since the day she arrived, and loves all people and other dogs, though she's still practicing curbing her excitement when meeting newcomers.

This sweet mixed-breed mostly-terrier, loves a good sniff while walking, and is delighted to play with sticks and dry leaves. She enjoys meeting everyone, and keeps a special eye out for the neighbours who give her treats.

Not a picky eater, Jenna loves any kind of treats and enjoys carrots and blueberries as much as she likes chicken and beef. She enjoys local blackberries and wild strawberries so much that she will even pause her walk to allow her family to pick some for her.

Her family says that Jenna's love of all treats definitely helps with training. She is a quick learner, and already knows how to do a sit, down, stop, and offer a paw.

Jenna's favourite toys at the moment are a stuffed donut and a duck, but her biggest treat is a ride in the car, where she can enjoy the view through an open window.

Enjoy the drive, Jenna!
