Share your thoughts at January drop-in

ree

Lions Bay residents are invited to a New Year's meet-up with West Van-Sea to Sky MLA Jeremy Valeriote at the Village Hall in January.

Valeriote will visit Lions Bay on Thursday, January 8 for a drop-in event from 5 to 7 p.m.

No registration is required for this event, which is being presented as an informal chat with his constituents.

Elected in 2024 as the sole Green Party member in the current BC legislature, Valeriote represents the balance of power for the ruling NDP, as his vote in the legislature gives them a majority.

Prior to his election, he served as a Councillor for the Town of Gibsons from 2014 to 2018 and received a master’s degree in leadership studies from Royal Roads University in 2020.

A geological engineer with over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting and local government, Valeriote is a vocal supporter of an improved passenger transit corridor along the Sea to Sky.

Valeriote also spoke out at the Provincial Legislature in support of the affected families after last December's deadly landslide.

MLA Jeremy Valeriote visits Lions Bay:

Thursday January 8, 5—7 p.m.

Broughton Hall, 400 Centre Road, Lions Bay, BC
