RAVEN Trust's Silent Auction On Now

Bid for Justice until the end of July

ree

Looking for a way to support Indigenous justice? RAVEN Trust has the answer.

The RAVEN Trust (Respecting Aboriginal Values and Environmental Needs) organization is currently hosting a virtual silent auction online. Funds raised will be directed in support of RAVEN’s programs, currently nine separate initiatives that fund access to justice for Indigenous Nations, as well as educational work that promotes Indigenous rights and sovereignty across Canada.

Caitlyn Kerr, Development Manager for RAVEN, says she is proud to introduce a new 'pay-it-forward 'initiative as a part of the silent auction.

Kerr explains that instead of bidding on a gift card for yourself, bidders can choose a 'pay-it-forward' gift card which will be given as a thank-you to a RAVEN volunteer, donor, or community member for their support. "This isn’t just a donation or a bid on an item. It’s part of a ripple of kindness and recognition, sparked by our amazing business supporters and carried forward by supporters like you."

Kerr says charitable tax receipts will be issued for all donations, including the 'pay-it-forward' cards.

The silent auction offers a wide range of items including a collection of ethical goods, adventures and art with a goal of raising $25,000 for Indigenous rights and environmental justice. If you are the winning bidder of a physical item, RAVEN will ship the item to you.

Raven Trust's Silent Auction (HERE) closes July 31 at midnight.
