Coastal Canina

Head into the weekend with Luna, our August coverdog!

Luna is a Coton de Tulear. She was born on May 29 2016, and moved in with her forever mamas when she was four months old. She is super active, intelligent and loves human attention, especially men. (She particularly loves her Village boyfriends Andrew and Davide!)

Luna is extremely well-travelled, and has lived in or visited Bella Coola, Ucluelet, Montreal, Ottawa and even Colombia! Since she was attacked twice by dogs in Colombia, she has taken on the habit of barking at big dogs, but her family is working to help her with this.

Luna's favourite part of the day is early in the morning when her family all go together for a walk. She loves all the trails around Lions Bay.

Her favourite treats are small pieces of Colombian arepas, which are a kind of corn tortilla.

This is not Luna's debut with The Watershed, as she was featured in a story about her mother Maria, back in June.

Luna, have an arepa on us – we are delighted to share a sunny weekend with you!

If your coastal canine (or other Pacific Pet) would care to be featured in The Watershed, please forward a cover-ready glamour shot and bio to editor@lionsbaywatershed.ca
