Lions Bay resident subject of RCMP, LBSAR search

The Squamish RCMP detachment is seeking public assistance in locating Lions Bay resident Stewart McLean, who was reported missing on May 18.
McLean is described as 45 years old, 5 foot 10 inches tall and approximately 150 pounds. He has recently-shaved grey hair and blue eyes.
A member of the Vancouver Film and Television community, McLean was reportedly recently working on a project in Merritt, BC.
Police report that he was last seen on May 15, and they are very concerned for his health and well-being.
Lions Bay Search and Rescue (LBSAR) were tasked with participating in the search for McLean, but a spokesperson for the team says that they have been stood down, and that Squamish RCMP is currently leading the search.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Stewart McLean is urged to contact Squamish police at 604-892-6100, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
